Nurse Duets ‘Love Is an Open Door’ from ‘Frozen’ With This Sweet Little Girl

Nurses are truly angels!

Singing is not taught in nursing school, and the lyrics of a song are definitely not part of the NCLEX. The connections nurses make with other humans and the change they make no matter how small is the true essence of what it means to be in this profession. Nurse Tom of Albany Medical is a clear example of that.

Kamryn is a beautiful 7-year-old girl who is battling kidney cancer and has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy since. But Kamryn and her mom Andrea Slater recently found themselves back in the hospital for a blood transfusion, and fortunately Tom was there to brighten the mood!

Mom was quick to capture the moment when Kamryn and Tom lip sync “Love Is An Open Door” from the movie “Frozen”.

She posted the video on Facebook saying:

“So the bad news is that we’ve been in the hospital getting a blood transfusion but the good news is that we met the most awesome nurse Tom, who happens to be a fan of the movie Frozen. This just happened! Lol”
