PHILIPPINES' PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISION(PRC)

The Philippines' Professional Regulation Commision (PRC) started rolling out the different room assignments for the May 2015 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) scheduled this May 30 and 31, 2015. The board exam is set to be administered at the designated testing centers of the following cities: Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro (CDO), Cebu, Davao, Dagupan, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Manila, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. 

The Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination is a two-day exam which consists of five (5) parts namely: Nursing Practice I Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice, Nursing Practice II Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child, Nursing Practice III & IV Care of Clients with Psychologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part A & B) and Nursing Practice V Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part C). The exam has 100-item question per part; a total of 500 questions will be asked.

Saturday, May 30, 2015
  • 7:00AM – 7:45AM General Instructions and Filling up of Forms
  • 8:00AM – 10:00AM Nursing Practice I – Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice
  • 11:30AM – 1:30PM Nursing Practice II – Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child
  • 2:30PM – 4:30PM Nursing Practice III – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part A)

  • 8:00AM – 10:00AM Nursing Practice IV – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part B)
  • 11:30AM – 1:30PM Nursing Practice V – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations (Part C)

Important Instructions

  • Examinees should report before 6:30 in the morning every examination day.
  • LATE EXAMINEES WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.
  • CELLULAR PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
  • Wear the prescribed dress code.
  • Attire:  School uniform or clinical uniform without pins, school insignia, name plate
  • Bring the following:
    • Notice of Admission (NOA),
    • Applicant’s stub,
    • Official Receipt,
    • pencils no. 1 or 2,
    • black ball pens only,
    • metered-stamped window mailing envelope,
    • long brown,
    • NON-PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS and
    • long plastic envelopes.
