10:Philippine Nurses Association shared that eData Services Phils., Inc is now hiring nurses to work as virtual scribes.
eData Services is an American owned and operated Health Information Management Company that employ healthcare professionals to deliver customized services to over 500 clients throughout the United States.
Virtual Scribe provide administrative support to physicians in a virtual environment in real time. Here's some of the tasks:
- Records medical history, examination, treatment plan and other clinical data in real-time while the physician interacts with patient.
- Reminds physicians of treatment plans and other recommendation from previous visit notes.
- Provides check and balance system to ensure visit documentation requirements are met, test results are received and prescriptions are refilled.
- Reminds physicians of the documentation requirements for billing purposes.
- Responsible for alerting physicians on missing test results.
- Delivers comprehensive clinical documentation.
- Correlates clinical information and generate useful reports.

- Candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- With excellent medical comprehension skills
- Proficient in oral and written communication skills
